Cynthia Hernandez is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic settings. Currently serving as an Outpatient Clinician at Clarity Child Guidance Center since September 2021, Cynthia has previously worked as a Psychotherapist at The Feelings Healers and held the position of Director of Intervention Services at the Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County. In addition to supervising client service teams, Cynthia provided individual and group therapy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Early career roles include Research Interviewer for the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council and Case Manager at the YMCA of Greater Houston. Cynthia holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences with a Pre-Veterinarian emphasis from Eastern New Mexico University.
