Sean Wihera

Sean Wihera is the VP of Business Development & Partnerships at Clarity Movement. Sean has over 10 years of experience in business and partnership development, proposal and grant writing, and project management. Sean has a bachelor's degree in environmental economics from UC Berkeley.

Sean started their career as a Junior Specialist at UC Berkeley, where they worked for one year before moving on to CITRIS. At CITRIS, Sean was the Manager of Special Projects for two years. In this role, Sean was responsible for proposal and grant writing, project management, and business & partnership development.

In 2012, Sean co-founded BECI Energy and Climate Challenge and also became the Founding Program Director of the US Department of Energy Berkeley Cleantech University Prize (CUP). The following year, Sean became an Analyst & Program Director at Berkeley Energy & Climate Institute (BECI). In this role, Sean was responsible for business and partnership development and proposal/grant writing. Sean was with BECI for four years before joining Berkeley Lab as a Program Manager.

Sean is currently the VP of Business Development & Partnerships at Clarity Movement. In this role, Sean is responsible for developing partnerships and business opportunities, as well as managing proposal development for the California Energy Commission.

Sean Wihera has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Sean Wihera reports to David Lu, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Paolo Micalizzi - Co-Founder & CTO, Meiling Gao - COO, and Ryan Higgins - Director, Marketing.
