Thava Tharmalingam has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Thava is the founder and CEO of ClarityTTS, a travel SaaS provider that offers sophisticated travel technology solutions. ClarityTTS is known for its innovative tech solutions and was one of the first companies to achieve the IATA's Airline Retailing Maturity index in 2021.

Prior to ClarityTTS, Thava was the managing director and founder/CEO of MerchantRMS Inc., an advanced fraud elimination and technology company based in Ontario, Canada. The company helps businesses globally make better decisions that drive higher levels of protection, growth, and customer satisfaction.

Thava is also an investor and partner at Mipvik, a company they joined in 2020.

Earlier in their career, Thava held the position of CEO and Director of Business Development at WinTLT, an IT consulting and software development company. Thava successfully provided custom software solutions for global business groups during their tenure.

Thava has also worked as a Senior Consultant at both Compuware and CGI. At Compuware, they helped businesses run and reinvent with open, scalable, and modular solutions. At CGI, they provided comprehensive and scalable consulting services in IT and business. Thava was responsible for program-level scope planning, scheduling, and managing, along with engaging with key stakeholders.

Thava's early career included working as a Software Engineer at GNX/Prior Data Sciences/AlliedSignal-Honeywell/Hypercom. Thava also worked as a Database Designer at the Ministry of Defense in Winchester, Hampshire, UK.

Thava Tharmalingam pursued an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University between 1990 and 1994, obtaining a BEng with Honours. Following this, Thava furthered their education at Kingston University from 1994 to 1995, graduating with a Master's degree (MSc) in Information Technology.
