Alex Furzer

Alex Furzer is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Senior Director Finance for the Science Group at Clarivate since September 2019. Responsibilities include providing financial insights to the Board and Executive Leadership Team, tracking capital expenditure, and presenting financial results to a variety of stakeholders. Prior to this role, Alex was Finance Director for the Life Sciences Business at Clarivate from 2016 to 2019, overseeing strategic planning and budgeting, while at Thomson Reuters from 1991 to 2016, Alex held various positions including Senior Analyst and FP&A Analyst, where significant contributions were made in financial reporting and analysis. Alex holds a BSc Hons in Chemistry from the University of Bath.
