Kim Connell has a strong background in the construction industry, with over 20 years of experience. Kim currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Development and Strategy at Clark Builders, a role they have been in since January 2024. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Vice President and Vice President and General Manager at the same company. Kim also held the role of Vice President Project Development. Before joining Clark Builders, Kim worked at CANA Construction Ltd., where they held various leadership positions, including Vice President Construction Strategies and Senior Preconstruction Manager. Following this, from 1993 to 1996, they studied at Dalhousie University's Technical University of Nova Scotia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil. Additionally, Kim Connell holds certifications in Business Essentials from Haskayne School of Business (obtained in 2013), LEED AP from the Canadian Green Building Council (obtained in 2008), and Gold Seal Project Manager from the Canadian Construction Association - Association canadienne de la construction (obtained in 2004).
