Janelle O'Rourke

Janelle O'Rourke has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Learning Strategist and Math Coach for the Clark County School District since August 2006, where responsibilities include teaching 8th grade pre-algebra and algebra 1, and coaching K-5 teachers on Math Common Core State Standards. Previous roles include teaching 7th grade math, serving as a K-5 Math Coach, and providing instructional support in Title 1 Schools. Janelle's earlier experience includes positions as a Make-Up Artist for SEPHORA, Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center, and a Teacher for Albuquerque Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Teaching English as a Second Language from Sierra Nevada College and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University.
