Reece Oswalt

Reece Oswalt serves as the Region 2 Superintendent for the Clark County School District, overseeing 105 schools since January 2000. Previously, Reece held the position of School Associate Superintendent, managing 36 schools, including 4 high schools and 6 middle schools. As a principal, Reece led a five-star Title I urban middle school with over 2000 students and an annual budget exceeding $10 million, as well as two five-star urban elementary schools recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools. Reece's career also includes multiple assistant principal and teaching roles. In addition to current duties, Reece has been an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas since June 2017 and serves on the Board of Directors for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada since August 2022. Reece holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, along with a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the same institution and the University of Iowa, respectively.
