Shannon Adkins

Shannon Adkins is a highly experienced military professional currently serving as a Senior Army Instructor at Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy and as a JROTC Army Instructor at Las Vegas High School within the Clark County School District since July 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon Adkins dedicated seven years to the US Army, attaining the position of Brigade Command Sergeant Major, where responsibilities included advising the Commander on numerous ROTC programs and overseeing professional development. Additional responsibilities included serving as Squadron Command Sergeant Major, managing a 1200-member Cavalry Squadron, and completing critical military education at the Sergeants Major Academy. Previous experience as a Senior Military Science Instructor at Norwich University involved recruiting and training future Army leaders. Shannon Adkins holds a Master’s of Science in Management/Organizational Leadership from Excelsior University, earned between 2016 and 2018.
