Catherine Choi is a Technology Specialist at Clark+Elbing LLP, where responsibilities include assisting clients with drafting and prosecuting utility patent applications in life sciences technologies. Previously, Catherine served as a PhD Candidate in the Moss Lab at Tufts University School of Medicine, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of GABA type A receptor formation related to neuropsychiatric disorders, earning multiple prestigious awards including the F31 pre-doctoral research fellowship from NIMH. Catherine's research experience also includes work as a Technical Research Assistant in the Rudolph Lab at McLean Hospital, where a novel link between neuronal inhibition and stress was discovered, along with maintaining a mouse colony for various lab projects. Early career roles involved teaching assistance and research in biology and neuroscience at Amherst College and KAIST. Catherine holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Tufts University and a BA in Neuroscience from Amherst College.
