Michael A. Morris, PhD, currently serves as a Technology Specialist at Clark+Elbing LLP, focusing on patent applications and chemical subject matter management. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral research position at the University of Pennsylvania, where novel photoswitchable dyes were designed, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, specializing in organic synthesis. Michael also completed an undergraduate honors thesis at Union College and worked as a Research Assistant at UMass Medical School, where immunohistochemistry techniques were utilized to investigate the role of LKB1 in Peutz–Jeghers syndrome. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from Union College.
