Clark, Nexsen
David Lancor is passionate about working collaboratively with his clients to create beautiful places that meet their unique needs. He is dedicated to listening, and to a curiosity to explore what is special about each project and client. He recently completed the Innovative High School, a unique partnership between Henderson County Public Schools and Blue Ridge Community College to place two high schools within one building on a college campus.
He is dedicated to sustainable design and brings a focus on integrated design, creating buildings that work as whole systems. David was instrumental in leading Rhoades Hall at UNC Asheville to meet the University’s aggressive commitment to sustainability and achieve LEED Gold while using half the energy the building used prior to renovation. Most recently, he led the design of Owen Hall, home for the Arts at UNC Asheville, and the renovation of the historic Ivy Hall at A-B Tech.
