Paul Thompson has over 15 years of experience in engineering and technical training, currently serving as the Technical Training Manager and previously as a Technical Trainer and Field Service Engineer at Clarke Energy since July 2016, specializing in the service and repair of Jenbacher Gas Engines and CHP systems. Prior to this, Paul served in the Royal Navy from October 2008 to July 2016, where roles included Leading Marine Engineer on HMS Cattistock, providing troubleshooting and maintenance on various electrical and mechanical systems, and managing a team of engineering technicians. Additional experience includes providing engineering support for deployed operations in the Middle East and training in maintenance across various marine systems on HMS Liverpool. Paul’s education includes attendance at the HMS Sultan Royal Naval School of Engineering and St Francis Xavier's College.
