Mark Briggs is an experienced professional in the field of ground engineering and geotechnical consultancy. Currently serving as Director - Ground Engineering at Clarkebond since August 2019 and as Director at Ground Risk Consultants, also established in March 2019, Mark Briggs provides expert geotechnical and geoenvironmental advice on diverse projects in the construction industry. Previous roles include Geo-Environmental Director at Hydrock, where Mark oversaw the geotechnical team for the South West and Wales, and various positions at companies such as Pell Frischmann, Capita Symonds, and URS Corporation. Mark Briggs holds an MSc in Engineering Geology from Durham University, a BSc in Geology from the University of Exeter, and a DoW:CoP Qualification from CL:aire. Additionally, Mark is a member of the Geological Society since 1997.
