Clarence Hayes, Ph.D., currently serves in the ESSER Grant Programs at Clarksdale Municipal School District since July 2023. Previously, Clarence held the position of Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management at Mississippi Valley State University from February 2022 to June 2023 and was the Director of Student Support Services at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas from August 2020 to February 2022. Additionally, Clarence served as Principal and Assistant Principal at Clarksdale High School between January 2015 and June 2020. Earlier roles include Director of Admissions at Grambling State University in 2016, Graduation Coach at Clarksdale High School from June 2011 to March 2014, Academic Advisor at Hinds Community College from 2004 to 2009, and Recruiter/Counselor at Jackson State University from 2000 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Urban Higher Education and a Master of Science in Guidance & Counseling from Jackson State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Mississippi Valley State University.
