Raquel Williams is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education and journalism. Currently, Raquel works as a freelance journalist for Clarksdale Advocate Online News since December 2022. Additionally, Raquel serves as a Parent Educator at the Children's Clinic of Clarksdale since January 1993, assisting patients with various tasks as requested by physicians, including developmental assessments and referrals. Since August 2020, Raquel has also held the position of Brain Coach for College & Career Readiness at Clarksdale Municipal School District, following a prior role as Teacher/Brain Coach with GIFTED endorsement at North Bolivar Consolidated School District from July 2017 to August 2019. Raquel's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Teaching from Delta State University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix.
