Jean-Philippe (JP) Rollet has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jean-Philippe (JP) is currently serving as the Managing Director for Classic Hotels & Resorts since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara Tourism Improvement District from 2005 to May 2021.
From June 2003 to May 2021, Jean-Philippe held the position of General Manager at The Plaza Suites, where they focused on assisting owners in maximizing the potential of their assets. During their tenure, they received multiple accolades, including a certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor and excellent ratings from Booking.com and Hotels.com. Jean-Philippe (JP) was also recognized as the Community Leader of the Year by the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and featured as a top meeting hotel by CVENT.
Further, Jean-Philippe served as a Director for the Mission City Community Fund Silicon Valley from 2012 to November 2020. Jean-Philippe (JP) was also a Member of the Board of Trustees for Newbury College from June 2016 to September 2019.
Their previous experience includes serving as the Chair of the Board for the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce from July 2009 to June 2011. Before that, Jean-Philippe worked as the Director of Rooms at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center from 1996 to 2003. Jean-Philippe (JP) also held the position of Front Office Manager at Buena Vista Suites from 1993 to 1996.
JP Rollet earned a Certificate in Advanced Revenue Management from Cornell University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from Webber International University between 1990 and 1992. JP's educational journey began with an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Hospitality Management from Newbury College, which they completed from 1988 to 1990.
