Carlos Alaniz

Carlos Alaniz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Carlos is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at ClassPass since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Visa from February 2019 to November 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer. Carlos also has experience working at General Motors as a Software Developer from January 2016 to February 2019. Carlos worked at DrivingQuest as a Lead Software Developer from November 2015 to January 2017. Additionally, they have gained research and teaching experience as a Research Assistant and Teacher Assistant respectively in the Computer Science department at The University of Texas-Pan American from 2013 to 2015.

Carlos Alaniz earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas-Pan American, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in GSQL 101 from TigerGraph in September 2021 and Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer from Salesforce in January 2020.
