Christopher Kao

Christopher Kao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christopher began their career at Domino's, where they worked as a Customer Service Representative and later became a Crew Chief responsible for store operations and inventory management. Christopher then transitioned to the University of Maryland, serving as a Technical Director, supporting faculty with audio and video equipment and implementing remote learning services. Christopher also gained experience as a Team Lead at The Juice Laundry, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and managing inventory. Christopher then joined Macy's as an Asset Protection Detective, documenting theft and customer incidents, and later became an Asset Protection Lead, supervising detectives and security officers during investigations. Most recently, Christopher worked at Aerotek as a Corporate Tech Support Agent, providing technical support for digital products and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Christopher is currently employed at Classy.org as an IT Admin I.

Christopher Kao completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Montgomery College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies. Afterward, from 2017 to 2019, they enrolled at the University of Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

In addition to their formal education, Christopher Kao has also obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they received the "Google Analytics for Beginners" certification from Google. In June 2021, they obtained the "Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED" certification from the American Red Cross, as well as the "Security Guard" certification from the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. Most recently, in November 2022, they became a "Slack Certified Admin" through Slack.
