Maarten's extensive experience includes positions as Senior Legal Counsel at Worldline by Atos, focusing on complex contracts and data protection, and as a Legal Researcher at UAntwerpen, conducting research in data protection and intellectual property. Additional roles include Senior IT Lawyer at KBC Bank & Verzekering, where IT contracts and policies were managed, and IT Lawyer at DLA Piper, providing advice on IT contracts and privacy matters. Maarten began a career as a self-employed IT consultant before obtaining a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven in 2003.
