Paul Noble is an experienced software engineer currently working at Clay since September 2024, following a tenure at Avenue from May 2022 to September 2024, where Avenue was acquired by Clay Labs. Prior to this, Paul worked at Bloomberg LP from July 2020 to May 2022. Academic experience includes roles as an undergraduate teaching assistant at Virginia Tech in Data Structures and Algorithms, as well as in Introduction to Python. Research involvement at Virginia Tech focused on complex network visualization in epidemiology. Internships include a software development role at Capital One, contributing to the migration of a significant reporting platform to AWS, and early development efforts for an internal Data Lake at Vanguard. Paul also co-founded Outlit inc, developing a mobile and web platform for event management. Earlier internships included work with UnitedHealth Group on drone delivery prototypes and research at NASA Langley Research Center aimed at automating image analysis processes. Paul earned a degree from Virginia Tech, complemented by a minor in Entrepreneurship from the Pamplin College of Business.
