Willie Yao

Willie Yao is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in infrastructure and developer experience. At Airbnb, extensive contributions included leading the Engineering Internship Program, overseeing performance management and hiring for over 100 interns, while also managing critical infrastructural scaling during rapid growth. As Head of Developer Infrastructure, initiatives included enhancing deployment processes and developer environments. At Notion, Willie built and managed the Infrastructure team, focusing on scaling core systems and enhancing user experience in preparation for significant user growth. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Clay, Willie also engages as a scout for Greylock, leveraging experience to support startups. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University.
