As one of the largest full-service sheriff’s offices in Missouri, the Clay County Sheriffs Office employee over two-hundred professional men and women in a variety of jobs. In addition to deputy sheriff positions, there are also many operational and administrative jobs available for civilian employees. Clay County is located in western Missouri and encompasses a portion of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. With over 221,000 residents we are the fifth most populous county in Missouri.
