Matthew Albert

Matthew Albert is a knowledgeable Preconstruction Engineer currently employed at Clayco since June 2023. Previously, Matthew held the position of Project Engineer at Gaylor Electric, Inc. from May 2022 to June 2023, gaining experience in various commercial construction market segments, including multifamily residential and healthcare. Responsibilities included managing RFIs and change orders, assisting with balance sheets, and utilizing construction software such as Autodesk Cloud and Bluebeam. Prior to that, Matthew completed a Project Manager Internship at CMH Builders, Inc., focusing on project management tasks and hands-on construction work. An early career began as an Apprentice at Steg Plumbing, gaining practical plumbing skills while working with homebuilders in Indianapolis. Matthew’s education includes two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Construction Management from Purdue University and Indiana University Indianapolis, along with a high school diploma from Brownsburg High School.
