Michael Fassnacht

Michael Fassnacht currently serves as the Chief Growth Officer and President for Chicagoland at Clayco, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Michael was the President and Chief Executive Officer of World Business Chicago from April 2020 to February 2024, also holding the role of Chief Marketing Officer for the City of Chicago and Interim President & CEO during that time. Prior to that, Michael founded and partnered with Black Forest Chicago in early 2020 and served as CEO and President at FCB Chicago from January 2014 to January 2020. Michael's experience also includes roles as President of Draftfcb Chicago, Worldwide Chief Strategy Officer, and Chief Customer Intelligence Officer at Draftfcb from 2006 to 2013, as well as CEO and Co-Founder of Loyalty Matrix from 2002 to 2006. Michael Fassnacht earned an MBA, MA in Economics, and studied German Language and Literature at the University of Goettingen in Germany and attended UC Irvine from 2002 to 2003.
