Jason Harmsen

Jason Harmsen has over 25 years of experience in emergency medical services and firefighting. Currently serving as Paramedic Lieutenant at the Clayton County Board of Commissioners since August 1997, Jason supervises a team of firefighter/EMTs and paramedics, handling both station duties and emergency calls. Previously, Jason was the Medical Administrator at Six Flags Over Georgia from March 1997 to March 2007, where responsibilities included managing the First Aid department and overseeing operations at the First Aid facility at Six Flags White Water for two years. Jason began a career as a Firefighter/EMT with the East Point Fire Department from September 1995 to August 1997. Educational achievements include a Certificate of Completion in Paramedicine from Clayton State University and a high school diploma from Riverdale High School.
