Valencia Destave

Valencia Destave is a dedicated law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles within the criminal justice system. Currently serving as a Police Officer at the Clayton County Police Department since July 2021, Valencia is responsible for enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and maintaining public order. Prior to this role, Valencia worked as a Probation Parole Officer for the Florida Department of Corrections, where responsibilities included monitoring offenders and facilitating their rehabilitation. Additionally, Valencia served as a Dependency Case Manager at the Center for Families and Child Enrichment, focusing on the welfare of minors in care and coordinating necessary services. Valencia holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Florida International University, completed in August 2017.
