Jose Rainier Cuadra has worked in the retail industry since 2000, beginning as a Visual Merchandiser/Operations Manager at Banana Republic. Jose Rainier then joined J.Crew in 2004 as a Market Visual Manager and Lilly Pulitzer in 2006 as Visual Director. In 2018, they became Visual Merchandising Manager at Interior Define and most recently, they are the Director of Retail and Events at Clayton & Crume. During their time in these roles, they have been responsible for the development and implementation of visual direction, presentation, standards, and creating the overall look and feel of the merchandising experience. Jose Rainier has also managed visual training, internal communications, display production, photo reviews, new store opening set-ups, visual collateral for marketing events, signage, and consistency across the field. Jose Rainier has managed annual capital and operating budgets, analyzed qualitative and quantitative metrics regarding consumer feedback, and partnered with Marketing, Design, and Merchandising executives to optimize and standardize branding and advertising across all channels of distribution. Additionally, they have trained, supervised, and mentored a large and diverse staff, overseen inventory controls, loss prevention efforts, and compliance with all sales metrics and store protocols.
