Dan West

Dan West is currently the Senior Western Regional Policy Manager at the Clean Air Task Force, a role they have held since 2024. With a rich background in energy and climate policy, Dan has previously worked as a Director of Public Policy at Rivian and as a Legislative Affairs Specialist at NASA. Dan also served as a Legislative Aide for U.S. Senator Mark Udall and was involved with various organizations, such as the National Audubon Society and the Natural Resources Defense Council, in roles focused on advocacy and strategy. They hold a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Lewis and Clark College.
