Yaqoot Shaharyar Ali

Yaqoot Shaharyar Ali currently serves as the Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Research and Development at Clean Crop Technologies, a position held since May 2021. Previously, Yaqoot has accumulated extensive industry experience through roles such as Scientist I at Heraeus, where the focus was on glass formulations for solar cell metallization, and as a Scientist at Hollingsworth & Vose, specializing in glass microfiber process development. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Engineer at Nufern, where polyimide coatings for optical fibers were optimized, and as a Research Associate at Rutgers University, investigating the properties and behaviors of various glass types. Yaqoot also worked as a Consultant in Chemicals and Materials at Kline and Company and as a Process Engineer at Sterlite Technologies, contributing to the fiber optic grade glass manufacturing process. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar.
