Joel King

Joel King is an experienced professional in hazardous waste management, currently serving as the Household Hazardous Waste Program Manager at Clean Earth since January 2021. Previously, Joel held several prominent positions at US Ecology, Inc., including Regional Hazardous Waste Manager and Waste Services Manager, where responsibilities included government contract administration, project proposal preparation, waste characterization, and regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes the role of Field Services Manager at EQ-The Environmental Quality Company, Program Manager at Broward County overseeing bulk waste transfer centers, and Operations Supervisor for the Solid Waste Authority, where Joel contributed to the establishment of Florida’s first permanent Household Hazardous Waste collection center. Joel holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Sciences from Stockton University.
