Matt Hendricks

Matt Hendricks is a Nuclear Engineer at Naval Reactors, serving since June 2015 in the Advanced Submarine Systems Division. Key responsibilities include leading reactor plant test programs, managing reactor plant fluid systems, overseeing the SUBSAFE program for VIRGINIA Class submarines, and reviewing equipment arrangements in propulsion plant spaces. Additionally, Matt has been a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute since March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University (2011-2015) and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School (2017-2018), along with other academic experiences from the University of Maryland and UNSW.
