Leang Chhun

Leang Chhun has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Currently, they are working as the Sr Director of Implementation at Clean Hands - Safe Hands since April 2023. Prior to this, Leang worked as the Lead, Partner Success Manager at the same company from January 2021 to June 2023.

In 2020, Leang took a break from their professional career to focus on being a full-time parent.

From 2016 to 2020, Leang worked at Piedmont Healthcare, holding multiple roles. They started as the Senior Improvement Consultant, leading quality improvement project teams and implementing Promise Packages across the entire system. Later, they became the Interim Manager of Clinical Data Modeling & Statistical Analysis, where they successfully reduced request turnaround time and maintained and supported numerous dashboards. Leang's final role at Piedmont Healthcare was Director of Quality Improvement, where they were responsible for directing and prioritizing process improvement activities at 11 hospitals.

Before joining Piedmont Healthcare, Leang worked at Care Logistics from 2011 to 2016. They started as an Intern, Transformation Engineer, and worked their way up to Transformation Engineer I and II. In these roles, Leang guided clients through operational transformations, reducing logistical waste and removing process barriers.

Leang's earliest work experience was at HCA as a Management Engineer Intern from 2010 to 2011. They also had roles at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they were a Graduate Student, Instructional Laboratory Coordinator, and Research Technician from 2009 to 2011.

Overall, Leang Chhun has demonstrated expertise in implementation, partner success, quality improvement, data analytics, and process optimization throughout their career.

Leang Chhun obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which lasted from 2004 to 2008. After completing the bachelor's program, Leang pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Systems at the same institution from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Leang also obtained two certifications: a Quality and Process Improvement Black Belt from Mercer University in February 2017 and a Lean Black Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers in October 2014.
