Joanne O'Neill

Director, Customer Programs at Clean Power Alliance

Joanne O'Neill has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Joanne most recently served as the Director of Customer Programs at Clean Power Alliance since October 2022. Prior to that, Joanne was a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chair at the California Efficiency + Demand Management Council from January 2019 to October 2022. Joanne also worked at CLEAResult as a Senior Program Director from June 2017 to October 2022, leading a team in delivering energy efficiency, decarbonization, and renewable energy programs. Earlier in their career, Joanne held various roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, including Principal Product Manager, Supervisor, and Program/Product Manager, where they developed and implemented energy management programs. Joanne also served as the Director of Chico State's Green Campus Program at the Alliance to Save Energy.

Joanne O'Neill obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental and Physical Geography and Environmental Studies from California State University, Chico. Joanne completed this program from 2002 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Sustainable Business from San Francisco State University, which they completed from 2008 to 2013.

In 2017, Joanne attended the Women's Executive Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Although there is no field of study specified for this program, they completed the program in the same year.

Joanne also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Breakthrough Management Group, which they earned in 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Pragmatic Marketing Certification in 2013 from Pragmatic Marketing, with a focus on Product Management and Marketing.
