Shervan S.

Shervan S. has extensive experience in communication and marketing, currently serving as a Communications and Marketing Associate at Clean Power Alliance since July 2021, where responsibilities include developing written and visual content for clean energy initiatives and managing community engagement efforts in Ventura County and the Los Angeles metro area. Previously, Shervan held roles as Public Relations Communications Manager at the University of Southern California, focusing on global health communications, and as Communications Manager at the California Immigrant Policy Center, leading a communications team and enhancing organizational visibility. Earlier experience includes advocacy work as Legislative Analyst for Prosperity Now, contributing to federal policy on the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance program, and serving in various legislative positions within the U.S. House of Representatives. Shervan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Creative Writing, and Political Science from Baruch College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies at California State University, Los Angeles.
