Robert Orleth

Robert Orleth has over 30 years of experience in software development and engineering. Robert currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Clean Power Research, where they have been working since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Software Engineering Manager from October 2014 to December 2021.

Before joining Clean Power Research, Robert worked at Microsoft for 16 years. Robert started as a Senior Software Developer/Lead in May 1998 and held this role until October 2014.

Robert's earlier experience includes a role as a Software Developer at CDS GmbH from July 1996 to February 1998, and as a Software Developer at Siemens AG from May 1992 to June 1996.

Robert Orleth earned their Abitur degree in Mathematics and Physics from Max-Planck-Gymnasium Nürtingen in 1986. Robert then went on to study Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, where they achieved a Diplom Ingenieur degree in 1992. In addition to their formal education, Robert obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in May 2014.
