Max Pounanov

Max Pounanov's work experience includes being a Co-Founder and COO at Cleana, Inc., a Boston-based company focused on designing and manufacturing innovative restroom hardware products. Max was also a Research Assistant at the Boston University College of Engineering, where they worked on various projects and served as a Student Makerspace Lab Advisor and an Innovation Fellow at the BUild Lab. Additionally, Max has worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at DEKA Research & Development and as a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Prior to these roles, they gained customer service experience as a Barista at Starbucks.

Max Pounanov attended Belmont High School from 2014 to 2018. Then, from 2018 to 2023, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Boston University College of Engineering.
