Kate Sims has extensive experience in environmental management, currently serving as the National Environment & Technical Manager at Cleanaway Waste Management since January 2020. Previously held positions include Environment & Technical Manager and Technical Supervisor at the same company. Kate has also worked as an Environmental Engineer at Australian Environmental Auditors and as an Environmental Scientist at Edge Group Pty Ltd. Other roles include Post Closure Specialist on secondment at Cleanaway Waste Management, Environmental Technician at Viridor, and Geoscientist at Earth Data Pty Ltd. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Science with a focus on Geography from the University of Otago.
