Leigh Newman

Leigh Newman currently serves as the Business Unit Manager for Cleanaway Waste Management in NSW/ACT since March 2022. Prior experience includes the role of State Sales Manager for Veolia from December 2019 to March 2022, where responsibilities focused on sales within solid waste. Between July 2014 and December 2019, Leigh held the position of National Account Manager at Veolia, following an earlier role as Key Account Manager with the same company from July 2011 to 2014. Throughout these positions, Leigh managed a retail sector portfolio, addressing day-to-day waste management needs and creating strategies to achieve zero general waste to landfill while fostering new and existing business relationships.
