Bram Karsten, PhD, MBA, is an accomplished R&D leader with extensive experience in organic chemistry, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals. Currently serving as the Director of Chemistry at Cleancard since 2025, Bram previously held the role of R&D Manager at EMD Electronics, where they led a team to develop novel materials for semiconductor manufacturing. With a strong foundation in academic research from institutions like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Eindhoven University of Technology, Bram has effectively contributed to transformative projects in both startups and large organizations. In anticipation of a relocation to San Francisco in December 2024, Bram looks forward to connecting with professionals in the research and development space to drive innovation.
