Sebastian Chong

Sebastian Chong currently serves as a Physical Energy Trader at CleanCo Queensland since May 2023. Previously, Sebastian held positions as an Energy Trader at ReAmped Energy from April 2022 to May 2023, where optimisation of wholesale positions in Australia and leading discussions on ISDAs and Master Gas Supply Agreements were key responsibilities. Other roles include Gas Trader at Strategic Gas Marketing, managing short-term trading markets, and Gas Supply Coordinator/Gas Trader at Santos Ltd, overseeing gas production and supply across a significant portfolio. Sebastian’s engineering experience includes roles as Flowlines and Connections Engineer and Drilling & Completions Engineer at Santos Ltd. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic.
