Christian Velarde

Christian Velarde is an experienced Plant Manager at Imerys since 2010, with prior roles including Plant Operations Manager and Divisional Operational Excellence Project Manager. In these positions, Christian has successfully implemented the Company Industrial Improvement Program within the Filtration NA division, enhancing operational excellence across various functional and technical modules, and achieving significant improvements in production safety and efficiency. Before Imerys, Christian served as Plant Coordinator at GCC from 2006 to 2010, leading safety and operations for two production plants and earning recognition for efficiency improvement projects. Christian holds a Master of Engineering in Operations Management and Supervision and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
