Eric Bastoul is the Senior Utility Scale Engineer for Borrego’s Utility Scale EPC Business. Based on the West Coast, he supports project-level engineering and technology functions and is responsible for system design, interconnection strategies, production modeling, and value engineering for Utility Scale projects. Prior to joining the Utility Scale EPC division, Eric was an engineer for the Borrego Commercial EPC business where he developed an aptitude for working with complex existing conditions, varying local requirements and constraints, and diverse customer and project priorities. Since joining Borrego in 2017, Eric has developed a deep understanding of the existing and emerging IT solutions related to the PV industry and how they can be leveraged to design and optimize large scale systems. Dedicated to renewable energy and solar power, Eric earned his MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Southern California and his BS in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and has his EIT in Electrical Engineering.
