Cleantech & Beyond is a spin-off from the Electronic Devices and Materials Innovation Laboratory, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand.  With a focus on sustainability and environment, our team of experts from academia and industry work closely together to identify research problems with real demand then develop practical technology solutions based on advanced materials. Our talented team members combine materials science and engineering disciplines to create innovations.

Our first product ready for the market is the "Digital Temperature Indicator" or  "DTI" - a battery-free, temperature-indicating label with a digital interface through wireless RFID/NFC communication. The DTIs are constructed from our patented, specially formulated thermoresponsive materials, allowing them to operate without any batteries. 

This unique technology offers a novel solution for tracking temperature-sensitive products or equipment at item-level. The wireless, digital interface based on standard RFID/NFC protocols can be integrated seamlessly into the enterprises' management system.

The DTIs can be applied to track & trace a temperature excursion event from the point of manufacturing, during shipping and warehousing, on the shelves, and all the way to the point of usage by consumers/users. The high-temperature version (>40 deg C) is also applicable for preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery as well as validation of processes that require high temperatures. By preventing spoilage and damages from temperatures, the DTIs can help increase the efficiency and sustainability of your business operations.
