Karen Spiegel has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Karen is currently the Principal at KS&Co., LLC, an executive management consultancy where they provide strategic counsel and brand positioning for various companies. Karen has successfully repositioned clients and helped them become thought leaders.

Additionally, Karen is involved in several advisory roles. Karen serves on the Arizona Chapter Advisory Committee for NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter, where they help corporate directors expand their knowledge and network. Karen is also a member of the Board of Directors for The Passive House Network, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainable and energy-efficient building practices.

Karen is actively involved in the non-profit sector as well. Karen serves on the Advisory Board for Stardust Non-Profit Building Supplies, a organization that sells salvaged building materials at affordable prices.

In the past, Karen has worked as a Business Mentor for Cleantech Open, a cleantech startup accelerator program. Karen helped startups with their marketing, communications, and business development strategies. Karen was voted Mentor of the Year in 2018.

Earlier in their career, Karen held executive positions at FCB Global and R/GA, where they oversaw communications, repositioning, and rebranding efforts. Karen also worked at Luminant, where they developed marketing strategies and managed promotional platforms for various clients. Karen started their career at The MediaLink Group, where they worked on traditional marketing and branding campaigns for clients.

Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in communications, marketing, and strategic planning. Karen has a passion for sustainability and has been involved in various organizations and initiatives that promote sustainable practices.

Karen Spiegel has a diverse education history. Karen completed their graduate level studies in Clean Energy & Technology at New York University, focusing on Smart Grids, Renewables, and Sustainable Buildings. Prior to that, they pursued studies in designing environmentally healthy sustainable systems at The City University of New York, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. Karen also holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Santa Clara University School of Law, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. Karen completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on English and History.

In addition to their formal education, Karen has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they completed the Yale Sustainability Leadership Forum, offered by the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and the Global Environmental Governance Project. In 2017, they obtained the NYU SPS Diploma from the NYU School of Professional Studies.
