Wesley Smith

Wesley Smith is a skilled engineer with a focus on hardware development, currently serving as the Lead Hardware Engineer at Cleantron cleantech batteries since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Azoteq from November 2018 to December 2022, where Wesley held various positions including Application Engineer and Junior Applications Engineer. Early career experience encompasses a role as a Braaier at Boland spit braai and a casual position at Azoteq (Pty) Ltd. Wesley also contributed as a waiter at blacksmiths kitchen and as a chess coach at Hugenote Laerskool, mentoring primary school children. Wesley completed a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, both from Stellenbosch University. Additionally, Wesley attained a Matric diploma from Huguenote high school.
