John Salter is currently the Chief Customer Officer at Clear Bank. As a member of the GTB Executive Committee, they were responsible for revenue and proposition development for Global Corporates and Financial Institutions globally. John also successfully managed a people change programme - new external hires including Heads of Sales for Trade, Financials Institutions, Global Corporate Cash Sales and Head of Receivables. In addition, John Salter was the Commercial Banking Credit Committee and Residual Value Committees, GTB Executive sponsor for Diversity and Inclusion, and Commercial Banking Graduate Recruitment Selection.

Some of John Salter's key accomplishments include delivering international expansion by developing in-country GTB businesses in USA, Europe and Singapore; successfully executing a significant restructuring programme that included building new Sales, Product, and Implementation functions; and improving distribution efficiency by building a new Sales Advisory function to respond to clients RFP – awarded 2 industry excellence awards in 2012 from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, the first Bank to receive this external recognition.

John Salter studied economics at the University of Salford from 1984 to 1987, and obtained a BSc degree.

Each of these colleagues has a different role within the company, but they all work together to help John Salter with their job as Chief Customer Officer.
