Sarah Bates

Sarah Bates currently serves as the Head of People at ClearBank, a position held since September 2022, overseeing HR functions for Technology, Product and Operations, as well as Group Central Functions. Prior to ClearBank, Sarah held various HR roles at Barclays from September 2015 to September 2022, including HR Director for Barclaycard Payments and Barclays Private Bank. Earlier experience includes a position as HR Manager at Tesco PLC and recruitment roles at The Works Search and Selection and The Works PR Recruitment. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's degree in History from Durham University.
