Lee Vela

Lee Vela possesses extensive experience in public affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Public Affairs at Clear Channel Outdoor since April 2011. Previously, Lee held the position of Chief of Communications for the Houston Independent School District from December 2008 to April 2011 and served as Director of Public Affairs at Clear Channel Outdoor from June 1991 to November 2008. Early in the career, Lee worked as Communications Manager at the Port of Houston Authority from September 1984 to June 1991. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, Advertising, and Public Relations from East Texas A&M University, earned between 1971 and 1973.
