Andrew Lin

Senior Scientist at Clear Labs

Andrew Lin is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in microbiology and assay development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Clear Labs since March 2019, Andrew has previously held positions at CPI International as an R&D/Quality Assurance Microbiologist and at the US Food and Drug Administration as an Interdisciplinary Scientist, where significant contributions included the development of a novel selective agar media for detecting STECs and a multiplex Luminex microbead-based suspension array. Andrew's early career includes work as a Graduate Student at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where original discoveries were made in the study of essential ATPases, and as an R&D Scientist at Diagnostic Reagents, Inc., focusing on diagnostic enzyme immunoassays. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Biology from UC San Diego and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology-Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley.
