Cathy Alt-Shoemaker, PMP, CSPO®

Cathy Alt-Shoemaker, PMP, CSPO® has over 30 years of professional experience in the fields of program management, operations, and intelligence. Cathy began their career in 1990 as an Intel Specialist in the US Army, and later served as a Program Manager, Instructor, and Writer at Anteon from 1999 to 2002. Cathy then moved to Booz Allen Hamilton, where they worked as a Senior Associate from 2002 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Maxar Technologies as a Senior Program Manager and then became the Chief Operating Officer at Clear Resolution Consulting, LLC in 2020.

Cathy Alt-Shoemaker, PMP, CSPO® holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Strayer University, obtained between 2000 and 2002. Cathy then obtained their MBA in International Business from American InterContinental University between 2002 and 2003. In 2008, they received a Certificate in Specialist to Strategist from Smith College. In 2017, they obtained their PMP certification from the Program Management Institute and their ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Project Management certification from ICAgile. In 2019, they obtained their Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Finally, in 2023, Cathy obtained their SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
